Some nice people got me a B&N Giftcard for my birthday. So I was able to tear through Fool Moon (which was pretty good) and order the third Gaunt's Ghosts omnibus. I was temped to go back and get the third Dresden book instead, but The Lost has been on the waiting list longer, also It's incredibily likely to still be there when I finish Lost.

Keep reading Dresden, whatever you do. It just keeps getting better.

There are few tasks as innately slapstick prone as attempting to squirt betadine solution into the ear of a ninety-five pound, recalcitrant, hyperactive Labrador retriever.

Failed repairs bother me. I know it's not my fault, but I still feel like there is something more I should be doing, like I can make the vendor send me parts that work or will fix the problem.

And totally hot.

Though I suppose this thought wasn't terribly random as a response.

I feel strung out, literal 11 hour day, came home, ate fast food, posted in some games (not mine though), got an hour of school work done Feel like i should be doing "More" though nothing appeals to me and I'm mostly cool with that. I think I'll lay down and read a bit more Gaunts Ghosts. then go to sleep. that's cool right? It doesn't mean i'm old or something.

My work bucket is significantly more empty now, and that makes me happy.

Here in California I don't theink there is a month on the calendar I haven't mowed the lawn in.

As a homeowner, I set a bad example and keep a meadow instead of a lawn most of the year. When people are trying to sell their homes I frequently get a free yard service.

Kirra, come visit whenever you like. You can mow my lawn.

I would do this if my next door neighbors weren't nice old folks who keep an immaculate lawn. I feel like they're glaring at me if I let it get too long.

I wish more people would follow this example. It's good for the Earth, even! More greenery = more CO2 processing...

I swear to God they need to rename Weed and Feed to "Feed the Weeds" everytime I use this **** my lawn turns into a giant bed for dandelions within 2 days.

I pay an entrepreneurial young man from my neighborhood $100/mo. to keep my front gardens weeded and my lawn mowed.

Outer Banks is right! My Dad knows someone with a house there on the ocean! He rents it out, said I can use it when it's not rented. So, I will be in Outer Banks, North Carolina in a couple of weeks for 5 days! It is gorgeous there, beach is right there and ocean sounds are the best to relax to.

OB? Never lol, I am definately not an obstetrics nurse, pregnant women in labor would drive me crazy

;)
