This isn't a remake of the Arnold Schwartzenegger movie. This is a remake of Philip K. Dick's short story, "We Can Remember It for You, Wholesale." While neither is faithful to the story (which would be a lousy movie, anyway), I strongly suspect the new one will be more in the spirit of the book than Arnold's.

I read the piers Anthony novelization when it came out (a year before the movie). The novelization differed radically from the movie
