Safe is a relative term. Just got a call the other day that someone tried to use my credit card. Chase flagged it as fraud and we cancelled it, they're issuing me a new one.

So now I'm paranoid about my PC. So far I've just run my Malwarebytes and ad-aware antivirus. Any tips on what else to do?

Do you have a smart phone or other wifi device that you use for financials? If so be sure not to use it on any strange or open networks.

Otherwise you sound golden.

I'd also suggest running a rootkit detection program or three on your PC. A rootkit can still persist even after a piece of malware has been removed.
