The Glade 4.0

It's April 24th. Spring is over a month old, the trees are budding, the flowers blooming. Average temperature is usally around 55-60 degrees fahrenheit this time of year.

The reason February appeared to have no snow this year, is that it loaned its weather to April. Yes, the ground is white. And it's still coming down. It's 34 degrees outside and it's snowing.

Yes, and she's complaining about a paradise compared to the swamp.

That said, it's been beautiful out lately here. Low 50's and sunny. If I could have this weather year round, I'd never complain.

I'm happiest in 80-95 degree weather. Sunny, but with shade for me to sit under and a pitcher of {insert any of Mojitos/Margaritas/Sangria here} to enjoy.

Had some tourists from Toronto tell me that Toronto is a lot like Sacramento weather wise. Of course this was in late May at our Jazz festival last year.

They seemed like a nice older couple, seriously deluded, but very nice

It is still getting down into the 30's here at night. Thank the gods there has not been snow or I would be in a state of madness.

Freakin' late-season rain storm last night in LA. Anecdotally, it seems unusual, although in looking at monthly rainfall charts, we typically get an inch or so in April. Seems like abig storm, though, for us.

Still, it ain't a snowstorm, I guess.
