Very good movie. I didn't like the new Bruce, though. Hulk was fine, but Bruce was kind of weak, imo. Hawkeye was pretty terrible, but Hawkeye is a terrible comic book character, so that was to be expected. Really liked the Thanos bit during the credits, but at the same time it kind of made me a bit sad because we probably wont see an Avengers 2 for a few more years(because I do believe at least Iron Man and Captain America are getting another solo movie each and maybe even Thor? And they won't do Avengers 2 until after those most likely).

Great movie, but not as good as Iron Man and maybe Thor, but better than any movie DC has put out or could even hope to put out ever.

I liked Banner. Banner was weak, which is exactly why he played. I don't feel hulk stole the show. He was very good, but there was plenty of goodness to go around. I think Iron man did just as well.

Thor vs Loki was probably "the moment" of the movie for me."

Everyone got their good moments in as far as lines and hits go.

I'm generally disappointed in all the super normals (except Colson,) without really being able to say why. Considering my leanings this probably says something not good about them, or maybe I have the bar set too high.

So, damn. Suits vs. Firefly is almost a Sophie's Choice.

I doubt he will,he appreciated the fan support but Serenity didn't justify a sequel and Fox won't let go of the rights and most of the cast is off doing other things.

Oh, Avengers, yeah. Saw it tonight, loved it, still trying to figure out the point of the second cookie.

Oh, and the quiver is an arrow building machine. It can refill several times from materials stored in the quiver. It doesn't keep it filled all the time because it doesn't know what arrowheads Clint is going to need. He has to tell it in some way.

Oh, I also think that was a skrull, not Thanos.

Is Agent Coulson dead? Hints say no, Fury never says he is actually dead, just uses phrases that indicate it. Stark tells Loki that he got Phil Coulson mad. Stark also makes reference to the Life Model Decoys which are basically androids. He could be stored in one of those until his body is repaired.

Don't look at me like that, he isn't Ben Parker.

Firefly is done, and Whedon has said as much at least once that I know of.

Though I do believe a new series in the same universe would be interesting.

Firefly is hard to restart post movie because of the holes in the cast dynamic.

I disagree. It's a different cast dynamic, to be sure, since you're missing Wash and Book, but the other characters have evolved to cover the gaps in different ways.

Mal's learned lessons from Book and emerged a changed man at the end of Serenity. He'd be a different crew conscience, but a conscience, nonetheless.
Kaylee and Simon kick up their relationship to be the ship's family-within-a-family since Wash is dead.
River's the new pilot, and would slide easily into filling the role for the sarcastic comic relief now that she's regained her wits full-time.

That's the whole reason the end of the movie works as well as it does -- the crew is left in a position where it can keep going, changed, but surviving.

All that said, yeah, realistically, Fox probably presents a nigh-insurmountable obstacle to reviving the series.

The new Banner wasn't weak at all. He actually had very strong convictions, which he held to throughout the film. It's just that he was soft spoken, which I thought was a great counterpart to unleashed rage of the Hulk.

Yeah. People don't get that this is how Banner's supposed to be.

Favorite part: Hulk and Thor just finished kicking some asses ... they are walking off side-by-side into the dust...Hulk pops Thor just for GP. LOL LOL

We missed the 2nd post-credit egg. =(

I thought Ed Norton did that well, too. Rufalo was just better.

The Incredible Hulk gets shortchanged in public opinion for some reason. I really thought it was a great movie. I had a hard time choosing if I liked it better than Iron Man (1). The fact that I find Tony Stark a compelling and interesting character, while the Hulk kinda bores me, implies to me that the fact that I was torn on which movie I prefered really said great things for the writing and directing of The Incredible Hulk. Sadly, people associated it with Eric Bana's peice of garbage, and didn't bother to go see it at the theaters.

Nevertheless, in hindsight, replacing Norton with Rufalo was not a bad decision at all.

I guess I just have a hard time getting into a character who's never in any real danger. Hulk can survive pretty much anything short of characters like Beyonder unmaking him. From a storytelling point of view they just have to say "oops, he got madder"
Granted he can fail to protect xxx but did anyone seriously feel he was in the slightest bit of danger when they had the 15 Chetauri (sp?) sleds all aimed at him
