They should have made things like tokens drop with each pack so one can get the things they actually want. Or make a weapon transformable into a token or something to swap out on a 2 for 1 basis or something.

RNG is a ****, always has been.

Loot system has really killed my drive to play MP. My N7 rating is just under 200 and I don't have a single sniper rifle better than my Mantis V. It's infuriating buying a second 99k spectre pack in a row and getting a GOD DAMNED SMG TWICE IN A ROW.

There are two reasons why they went with the random system. One, longevity wouldn't be there if you could just unlock all of the best stuff right away and people would stop playing making them less likely to buy any multiplayer DLC in the future because they are done already. Two, they have the packs there for Bioware and Microsoft points as an alternative to in game credits. Some people on the forums claim to have spent over $300 on packs and Bioware would be kind of silly to just let that go away.

I can't fault them for not wanting to drop the real money packs because a business is there to make money. And I can understand the first reason as well because it's true. But what they seem to refuse to realize is that random **** is even worse about getting people to keep logging in and they actually start resenting them for it and that makes them even less likely to purchase future content.

What they should have done was have a store with tiers of gear unlocked by N7 level. As it stands now, N7 level is 100% useless. Having the different tiers unlocked by N7 would give people something to work towards, allowing them to choose which weapons and mods they unlock.

Going to talk single player here for a minute.

There are some nifty things I never got to see because of the choices I always make. For example, if Legion was sold to Cerberus in ME2, during the assault on TIM's base towards the end, Legion will be there and attack you(no dialogue). His role during the Quarian/Geth war is replaced by a VI with his likeness.

If Jack survived ME2 and you don't do the Grissom academy mission, you will hear her getting interrogated during TIM base and later you fight a Jack phantom.

You can save Mordin's life if you pass a paragon/renegade check if you sabotage the genophage cure. I also watched a video of all the character deaths and you can shoot Mordin in the back if you don't choose the red/blue options when trying to convince him to not go up the elevator when sabotaging the cure. It was quite the scene.

I thought these were pretty damn cool.

So, I picked this up on the Amazon sale earlier this week and just finished it today..

*shrugs* I dont think the ending was as horrible as people were making it out to be. Sure, I'd have liked more to explain what happened to everyone, but overall I'm ok with how my game went

Yeah, that was my initial reaction too after hearing all of the hate over the ending, the second I played it. "Well, I guess that was OK. It wasn't as bad as everyone is saying." Then I thought about it for a bit, and realized it's a terrible ending that resolves nothing and dooms everyone, regardless of your choice, not to mention taking characters that were on the surface and now they're flying away for some reason and wait....grrrrrr SUCH A TERRIBLE ENDING

It's a copy of the human Vanguard's nova. Except, you know...you don't have to put points into it. Well, you have to put points into the passive skill to increase melee damage to make it worth a damn, but yeah. It's pretty **** broken.

I will probably be pretty irritated when Vorcha don't have a way to regenerate health. I am also confused by that vidya. Does the arc pistol count as a geth weapon? I just can't bring myself to use non-geth weaponry with my infiltrator. XD

Arc Pistol is a Quarian weapon. There is no geth pistol. But it doesn't really matter because you don't even really use it that much. You just melee everything to death.

Oddly enough, I was told that there would also be Quarian Engineers and Infiltrators, but those classes are already in the mix. Needless to say, I’m a sucker for Vorcha, and getting to roam around the already solid maps with them should be a blast! Not to mention that mysterious “Phoenix” class!

While no release date or price (if there is one) was annonuced, but be sure to check back with Front Towards Gamer as it looks like Bioware has several surprises still in store for Mass Effect fans!

They could be adding male quarian engineers and infiltrators. But yeah, they could also mean turians. I have no idea what a phoenix could be, though.
