Well, at least you are getting a wrap up season for the shows you like. Much better than them just getting cancelled after a cliffhanger season finale. Though, since these are comedy shows, I can't imagine a cliffhanger season ending being too common place, but I don't watch TV comedy anyway so I wouldn't know(honestly, I don't watch TV period).

Sucks for those that like the shows, though. But one would think if the shows were getting ratings, they wouldn't be cancelled. Then again, people at large have terrible taste in television, so it doesn't really surprise me when shows get cancelled due to lack of ratings. But I don't even know if that's the reason they are cancelling these shows. I will say I've seen an episode or two of 30 Rock and thought it deserved to be in the same category as reality TV. Absolutely awful. Can't say anything about the other two shows, though.

Too bad. Thursdays are really the only time I might sit down and watch a string of shows. And these are those shows. I especially like Community and Parks & Rec.

But hey, 2&1/2 Men and Tim Allen's new show will last 14 season. 14 seasons of the same laugh-tracked, LCD **** over and over...

Parks and Rec? Crap! I just got into that show by watching the first three seasons on Netflix. I kept going, "how did I miss this show?".

Also, Alcatraz has been cancelled. I'm losing out on four shows that I really enjoyed in the past 2 years.

No, there's still a lot of great television being made, but with these three (well, two...30 Rock has passed its sell-by date and is largely running on goodwill at this point, but Community and Parks & Rec are at their creative height) being put to pasture, there's little of value left on broadcast television. Original cable series are where all of the interesting stuff is going.

For Broadcast television, Grimm and Once Upon a Time are still holding my interest. OuaT is actually far better than I originally expected it to be, and Grimm, while still too episodic, is actually getting its story arch going.

Another one: the current Nikita is absolutly great. It's on the bubble though, for cancellation.

I still <3 Supernatural, even though it's been rather unfocused since the end of season five, when the original creator and showrunner left and the boys stopped oh yeah the ****' apocalypse. Kinda hard to build on that.

Man, I just can't wrap my head around why they can't get community. While parks and rec has been EXCELLENT the last couple seasons, and 30 rock still has it's moments but it's best days are behind us (even though I would watch it for 20 years like the simpsons over any other piece of **** shows they're shoveling out these days), they finally have a show that's fresh, connects with a young audience, and challenges it's viewers, not the least of which is evidenced by the uproar with it's rumored cancellation. It just goes to show that the big networks are done, and the real content will be coming from original series willing to take a chance from AMC, HBO, Netflix, and even Amazon is starting their own content now. The dinosaurs must die.

Netflix is reviving Arrested Development, maybe we can convince them to revive Community.

I don't understand it. Parks and Rec getting the boot while The Office is still around? Talk about injustice. The Office wishes it had multiple strong characters to lean on like P&R does. But since it doesn't, it's been spiraling downward for some time now.

Oh well. One less thing to watch for me I guess. I still have no regrets ditching all cable and satellites coming into my house.

Honestly, Life is the show I was most pissed they cancelled. But that's been a while.

I think there's still lots of decent broadcast out there- Psych, Leverage, Burn Notice, Castle, Finder White Collar, Nikita and Eureka still hold my interest. Granted one of those is ending this season.

Supernatural is also pretty good- I actually like it more since it defocused after Season 5, though.

Also, Hulu is reporting that Community got a 4th season, so...
