I'm planning on building an indoor garden instead of the traditional decorations for my dining area replete a dining set out of a traditional hanok.

I may have to do some artificial plants with the garden flowers/bonsai trees, but I plan on doing at least a waterfall of some sort, minaturized. Anyone know of any good books or resources about typical building and construction techniques? And I need advice with the gardening aspect as the natural light available to it is going to be somewhat limited and may need to come from artificial sources.

Admit it. You want to set up hydroponics for your own stash.

Heh, I so totally thought that was what this would be about when I clicked on this thread, hahaha! :D

Seriously though, that sounds pretty awesome. An indoor garden would be nice, and I for one would love to have one. I don't know of any books, but I love google for things like this. Maybe a local nursery can point out some plants that grow well without a lot of natural light. Look for plants that thrive in shade, and maybe consider plants that you could keep in pots that were moveable to put outside sometimes to get some extra sunlight before you brought them back in.

Yes, that is precisely what someone who works at a place where random hair folicle and urine testing at all times is trying to do. Not to mention the possible terrorism tack-ons that could be dredged up by the prosecuting DA given a growing, selling, distributino and/or trafficking charge due the nature of my job.

I smoked some broccoli once in college.
I didn't mean to.
I was sweeping the floor and thought I found a bud; I was stoked!
Put that sucker in my pipe and toked on it for a good 5 minutes before I took it out and realized it was a dried up broccoli floret.
