I have high hopes for this because CD Projekt is a great developer. Really, if you haven't played The Witcher and The Witcher 2, play them. Awesome games.

I'm interested to see what CD Projekt RED does with it, but the Cyberpunk 2020 license doesn't particularly excite me. Everybody I know who played it back in the day suggests it was a pretty bland and mediocre cash-in on the popularity of the genre without any particularly meaningful contributions or deep insight into it.

That's more to say that I'd be equally excited about CD Projekt RED doing an original IP within the genre, rather than suggesting that the license actively turns me away, though. Not sure what I think about classes, though.

RPS had an article about it yesterday, but I forgot we had a couple Witcher fans here.
