Yeah. Why is it that this year, the Disney Studios animated feature feels Pixarish, and the Pixar movie feels Disneyish? John, are you trying to mix things up over there?

Yeah, that looks like it has the potential to be very good.

On a different note, I am glad to see that John C. Reilly making more space in his bedroom did indeed give him more free time for activities such as this.

Since apparently I forgot to comment back when the first trailer came out...

I remain shocked that they managed to get permission to use the variety of characters they did. Of course, it's the moneybags at Disney, so maybe I shouldn't be.

I've heard from one commentator that this movie could be this generation's Roger Rabbit. I've seen nothing thus far to make me think otherwise.

I'm not really sure what that means. Roger Rabbit was cute, but nothing earth shaking as a movie.

I assume you're ignoring the technical hurdles overcome for the movie.

Or the fact that it was able to draw on a wide variety of cartoon characters from a bevy of rights-holders.

Took the shrimp today. It was good and the cameos are gooey in a Rodger rabbit fashion. More to it than just the cameos though.

Also speaking of being Pixar like, there is a short ahead of the feature and it steals the show.

Or the fact that Jessica Rabbit made a men out of a generation (which, by extension, I mean it was a movie that really pushed boundaries for a studio that was a very one trick family friendly pony.)

I enjoyed myself a bunch. I'm totally going to give my Disney-fangirl coworker a hard time, though, because this movie gives me grounds to suggest that not only Jane Lynch, but also Sarah Silverman have grounds to be Disney Princesses now...

I mean, think about that. That's pretty horrifying. I love it.

It's a brave new world Farsky.

Also I'm wondering what I missed the first time around. There were definitely some people I couldnt identify fast enough and I wonder if the gamer girl isn't supposed to be important in a way I failed to realize.

I think he's under the illusion that you and Kaffis are the same person.

Besides, its a small world, after all.
