Some of those weren't very good riffs.

Wow, yeah. On all counts.

I will give him credit, though -- there were two or three strings of three to five riffs where I liked the arrangement of selections and the transitions between them.

yea, what he did is not easy.. getting something like that all in one take.

He was interviewed on NPR about it, and admitted that some of the transitions just sort of 'happened' and they weren't really planned.

He also admitted that he intentionally left out some obvious choices (NO STAIRWAY!).

There is obviously a lot of room for debate about what to include on such a list, but there are some strange inclusions and some obvious omissions here.

That said, it's not intended to be a commercial studio production. Just a guy noodling on his guitar. He had no idea it would go viral the way it has.

I thought it was pretty cool.
