So my neighbor gave me a heaping handful of these over the weekend and I have no idea what to do with them. Any good recipes?

I'd make some homemade guacamole. I don't have a recipe other than this one, from memory.

Peel and pit three big avocados
Chop up two tomatoes
Chop up half a red onion
Chop up two or three serranos
Chop up some cilantro

Smoosh up everything in a bowl and stir well

Taste it.

Add some salt
Add a splash of vinegar
Squeeze lime juice in there

Adjust last three ingredients until it tastes good

Or you could make some chili with serranos in it. And then some chili dogs with sliced serrano on top. Ohhhhh yeah...

One important rule when chopping hot peppers...wear latex (or equivalent) gloves. The oils are very painful if they get into your eyes or on/in other delicate areas.

Vlad your guacamole recipe sounds good. Mine is similar but I add garlic and I don't add tomatoes, salt, and vinegar. I will try tomatoes next time though, since hubby and I both love tomatoes. :)

Oh yeah, how could I forget garlic?! Put garlic in there. Absolutely.

I really like the flavor the vinegar adds though.

I like browsing allrecipes.com and sometimes even searching YT. Might have some luck there. I'd probably just end up making some salsa out of them.
