Even with broad bipartisan support in the House, I doubt it will even see the light of day in the Senate.

Yeah it's just going to plunge into the massive black hole known as the US Senate.

(This post shamelessly brought to you by people to evict Sharrod Brown)

I would generally agree, but to play devil's advocate, would you have guessed it to even pass the House in the first place?

They're *all* up for election this year. Only some of the Senators are. *sigh*

A couple of years ago, FarSky? Not a chance in my mind.

I'm politically challenged. What is Audit The Fed?

I'm not sure exactly, but I think it's a bill that would allow students to sit in on Federal Reserve meetings without getting actual course credits. Or something like that.

Not only did it pass, but it overwhelming passed, with only 98 House members voting against. As far as the Senate goes, believe it or not Harry Reid has gone on record many times in the past as being in support of the legislation.

see this isn't going to get done until after the election if the bill gets done. So when we discover the Fed is just a house of cards it will be the new administration/congress's fault
