No, not a Final Fantasy protagonist. A new film from the Wachowski...siblings now, I guess? and the director of Run Lola Run.

I have the same question as Kaffis, how many films will this be? That five minute trailer looks to come from a five hour long film.

Kaffis was poking fun at a typo in the initial post (I said "few" instead of "new"), but it's just one film. But it supposedly spans millennia.

basically a love story with karma and reincarnation and futuristic stuffs.
Even aside from Hally Berry and Tom Cruise can't say the trailer was that exciting

OK, I had no clue. They're now known as simply "The Wachowskis." Huh, wonder if this explains all the secrecy surrounding them early in their career(s), when it was almost impossible just to find a picture of them. Thanks for prompting me to look this up. I think.

Yeah, back in the post-Matrix pre-Reloaded days there were some rumors that Larry was going through (or thinking about going through) trans-gender operations. I remember a few years later the news finally came out.

Yeah, I guess after the Matrix:Reloaded, I can't of lost interest in what they were doing. Speed Racer didn't help that at all.
