The ricin was prepared twice and never got acted upon, but the Lily of the Valley (what I assume is the third time you reference) definitely worked.

Three times.

For tuco.
For the two gang bangers that employed an eleven year old.
And the third was the bit Jessie kept in his cigarette pack.

Walt refused to help Jessie when he wanted the ricin for the rival dealers.

My point was not that Walt was involved, but that Ricin itself has been brought up far more times as a plot-point than anything else and it has yet to be used for it's intended purpose. That is why I'm thinking it still has a role to play.

Episode 1 of this season was pretty meh in my opinion, but last nights episode was **** great.

Mike and Hank are stealing the show, but Walt and Jesse were great too.

The outlet scene still (obviously) tells me that stuff still has a part to play. I'm sticking to my theory for now.

I could be very wrong, but I did call Willow from Buffy turning into a Lesbian long before my friends could even dream of it. I called it from the first episode you meet Tara, I seriously and honestly publicly posted it (posted it on a BBS, no less) even though my friends thought I was nuts.

Good episode though. Definitely turning Walt into a more and more creepy and unlikable guy, which I guess was the whole point of the series.

What's up with Skyler anyway? Is she bedridden with depression or something? Scared frozen by Walt? It felt pretty uncomfortable watching Walt fondle her and then just cut to black.

I think she might kill him in the end.

Another very plausible and logical (and even ironically poetic) happenstance.

Between the end scene of the last episode, I would guess she's starting to see just how bad of a person he is.

She's told him that she is afraid of him. Walt also mentions Ted right before he get's in bed with her. Coupled with last weeks "I forgive you" regarding Ted. She's scared yeah.

If they can maintain the quality of ep2 for the rest of the season, this will go down as one of the best shows ever made. It's already one of the best ever made, but if they pull off an ending, holy crap. Incredible show.

Yeah if the series finale can equal even just the season 4 finale, I will be more than satisfied. If it goes even beyond that.... wow.

The executives who wanted to see John Cusack or Matthew Broderick instead of Cranston as Walter need to be punched in the face by the actor who plays Huell. Can you even imagine Walter White played one those two?! I am glad Vince Gilligan fought hard for Cranston against the evil corporate executives.

I like Broderick and Cusack (especially "Grosse Pointe Blank" Cusack) but... no. Nobody beats Cranston.

Funny that when I started watching the series I was honestly wondering how I could take Cranston seriously and now my opinion has taken a 180. I can no longer not take him seriously.

Was watching Malcolm in the Middle last night and my wife kept getting creeped out every time she heard Hal speak.

I don't think it will be Mike (as much as I like his character).

Mostly because the entire show has been about an amateur criminal winning, against a lot of odds, over the more seasoned ones. It would be several steps backward if Mike were the guy to do it.

But who knows?

Yeah, I had some real problems when I started watching the show, as Cranston was so seemingly indelible as Hal (even ten years on).

Now, however, he's Walter White to me.

I actually actively avoided the show during the first few seasons (I didn't start watching until 3-4) because I couldn't understand how Cranston would make a believable drug dealer. What a bad decision that was.

Yeah I just liked the picture. The cinematography in this show is amazing. I love the visuals.

I'm really not sure how it goes down from here. Walt will probably rise to be the new Gus in terms of drug kingpin, what happens along the way and what happens after I dont know.

I remember thinking "Wait, the dad from Malcolm in the Middle is a meth dealer? Really?"

And now I want Cranston casted in everything. Forever. Hell, I even kind of want to see the new Total Recall (even though it looks terrible) because he plays the villain.

He's been doing a lot of cameos or supporting roles of late (I'd recommend 'Drive' [the film, not his 'X-Files' episode of the same name]), as well as doing a great VO turn in the animated 'Batman: Year One' film.

Ok, finished season 4, and just bought a season pass for 5 on iTunes.

Marathoning a season of 'Breaking Bad?' One of the best possible uses of a weekend.
