I wouldn't either (though I've toyed with turning my right-arm emblem into a quarter-sleeve or half-sleeve. But then, I work in entertainment, so...tattoos not really a problem here.

Personally, I wouldn't really see a problem with it were it to be easily (and artfully) covered.

Edit: Holy ****, I just realized that I've had my tattoo for eleven years. Jeebus. A) I'm old, and B) if I'm going to do something with it, I better get to it.

I was just thinking a Chinese symbol on underside of my wrist. I could easily cover with a bandaid for job interviews and then after you get the job...does it really matter? My other tats are hidden, hip and ankle, and small also.

Lenas, how do you think they discriminate if you have tattoos? I can understand large ones, like sleeves ect..but a small one?

I had a buddy who had the Punisher skull on his wrist. It was small enough to be covered by a wrist watch.

If you can be sure that it's hidden easily any time you need, then there's no reason not to. I just feel like if I walk into a meeting everyone else is gonna look at the twenty-something with tattoos and figure, "WTF does he know?"

If Wolverine popped his claws when his wrists were bent backward at a 90° angle (or really any angle except completely flat on top), wouldn't they suddenly split through the base of his palms, leaving his fingers and palms flailing uselessly on top of the claws?

I guess they retracted into his forearms originally, but that still wouldn't solve the problem of not being able to bend his wrists.

Just took in the Directors Cut of Watchmen...I don't know why this movie didn't do better. Oh wait, yes I do.

Not having a visible tattoo will always make a better impression than having one when you are applying for a nursing job.

The one exception I've seen is a tattoo covering information emergency responders need to know about your health conditions, then again, if you have serious enough health conditions to warrant such a tattoo, then should you be in an emergency response position like nursing?

If you get one, I'd stay away from any area you can't cover with normal work appropriate clothing.

Apparently, there is a sentence in some dress code for employees that states no tattoos can be visable. I guess some of the guys have to wear long sleeves all the time because of this rule...even though their tats are not that big.

So, I guess I will have to find another place to get it than my wrist. Bah! I wanted to be able to see it.

Apparently we are having too much fun around here...my 10 year old just asked if he could create a profile and get on The Glade and when I told him no he was truly disappointed.

I'm having one of those rare "I really don't feel like going in to work today" mornings.
