Anyone else excited about it? Darksiders part one was a GREAT game and I'm damn near forgot part two was dropping tomorrow. God of War meets Zelda and you're playing Death the Horseman?

I tried to use that image for my credit card and they denied it as a TOS violation :(

I wanted to play the first one, but I never managed to lay my hands on a copy. I was originally going to get it with my new computer as a bonus, but when I ended up getting an Intel processor rather than AMD, that went away.

What the heck does that have to do with not getting the game? Like, you spent more than you wanted on a processor and the game was no longer in your budget?

I ended up buying this last night, started playing at midnight and I was upset that I had to sleep by 2:15 :( Good game so far! Looks better than the original and the loot, leveling, quest systems are much expanded. This one is on the path to succeeding the original.

Like I said it was a bonus, (i.e. free) for getting the AMD processor. It wasn't available as a bonus with the Intel processor.

Ahh, just thought you meant a bonus to yourself.

Getting the computer was a major bonus. You should have seen the hard sell I put on the wife about it.

No interest from anyone else, huh? Shame. This series is really good! I ended up buying it and it's very much expanded from part one. More RPG elements, more character customization, more open world, and now it's not only God of War meets Zelda, but throw some Prince of Persia in there too cause I'm runnin' on walls like a MOFO.

Death is much more agile than War.

From what Ive seen of it, Id like it, but for me its a 'wait until its on sale' purchase...

Its very hard to get me to go full in on launch for full price nowadays...

plus if I wait, hopefully they'll fix the PC issues by then XD

I own the first one but I'd be lying if I said I'd played more than an hour of it. I had other games I was far more into at the time and just never felt the burning desire to go back.

My wife really enjoyed it though. And the sequel looks interesting.

Liked the original. Bought it new shortly after it came out. I wasn't overly thrilled, although I finished it. It felt so... quick. Not worth the full price, IMO. Maybe after the price drops.

Part two is pretty much twice the game that the first was, IMO. Largely expanded, and worth the cover price.

Loving it so far. I played the hell outta the first one, and was really looking forward to this one. I'm really liking the improvements they've made this time around. I'm only about an hour or so into it now, but so far, it's really good.

The idea of the Four Horsemen as the Good Guys was a novel concept.

I was endlessly amused at the number of people who mouthed off to Death, knowing full well who he is.

I picked up both, playing through the first one now. Looking forward to getting to the more open second one, but the first one is old school Zelda fun.

I'll be honest, I really lost my motivation to continue playing this game when I realized the timeline of it. I was thinking it would be a direct sequel to part one, but they're more concurrent.

I saw that massive load of stuff for 25 dollars and was thinking about it.
Especially since I've never played dawn of war.

That THQ Bundle is TOTALLY worth it

Dawn of War 2 (plus Chaos Rising and Retribution)
Space Marine
Saints Row 2 and The Third
Darksiders and Darksiders 2
Company of Heroes

Each of those games is EXCELLENT, and to get all of'em for $25 PLUS others I didnt list? BUY IT NOW

I'll second this, that is an excellent deal. Just got space marine separately and it is a blast as well. (I probably paid 25 bucks for DSII and space marine alone!) Also, Dawn of war? Awesome online co-op.
