It appears that James Gunn (writer of Scooby-Doo, writer/director of Slither) is in exclusive talks to direct Marvel's upcoming movie about a gang of intergalactic whatevers. A gang that includes, apparently, and Ent and talking space raccoon. The news that James Gunn will likely be writing and directing this film makes me want to see it even less, and that is, in fact, an accomplishment.

The thing that makes me smile most about this news is that the world will forever be trying to figure out which is the more bizarre & surreal of his Superhero movies: Guardians of the Galaxy or Super.
