So my son looked out back four days ago and saw this little guy huddled against the wall in the shade of our back patio. She was pretty scared and tried to run, but she was so skinny from lack of food I don't think she had much energy.
We initially brought her in, then put her back out in case the mom was moving her and was coming back. After several hours and so sign of mom we brought her back in. First we tried giving her a little milk, which we wasn't to impressed with. We took a trip to the pet store and got some food for her.
My wife put a little bit of the juice on her finger and the kitty got a little whiff and tried to eat her whole finger. We gave her some more food which she scarfed right down. After a day or so she seemed to have a little more energy.
We tried to let her rest but still give her attention so she got used to people. The first people we showed her to thought she was 5 or so weeks old.
Yesterday we took her to the vet and he told us she was only three weeks old. He said since she was doing ok with the wet cat food keep giving that to her.
We had a little pen set up for her, but she figured out how to get out pretty quick, especially now that she has regular meals.
It's been four days or so now and she's at home now on our laptop keyboards. Of course the kids are in love with her and don't want to get rid of her.
