power through it wuss....I did it all with no pain meds.....

my one was so large (1cm), I had to get Lithitripsy....when I peed the pieces out, it was crazy.

In all seriousness though....yeah it sucks, you have my sympathy.....I remember lying on the couch for hours on end in excrutiating pain just curled up in a ball.

dilaudid is the bomb........drool on yourself.

percocet is like candy, when you are in pain........

Hope you pass it the first time. I've seen people have to go in and have a stone pushed back up, so they can get lithotripsy, then have to pass the fragments all over again.

/comfort

My stone's only 3mm, so no lithotripsy...but not only was I curled up in a ball in pain, but puking too. Which is a lot of fun when you're dehydrated. I tried to power through it for 6 hours but then it started to hurt worse. So I swallowed my pride and went to the ER.

Ouch! Don't try to power through that kind of pain...I know, I've had similar pain the past 4 weeks from shingles (curled up in a ball, crying, and puking...all three...vicodin isn't helping much). Hope you get it passed quickly and feel better!

/hugs (not too tightly)

Been there, prefer morphine.

Hope it passes soon.

Thanks all. I got a cocktail of Torradol, Dilaudid, and Zofran in the ER. Made the pain and nausea go away, but man did I feel weird. My reaction was "And people LIKE feeling this way?" The percocet seems to have started working better, but combining it with more zofran has made me one sleepy mofo. Looks like I'm on track to pass this thing Saturday or Sunday. I get to keep straining my urine for 48 hours after the pain stops so I can get the stone analyzed :?

Rofl, Michael. Brony, while conjuring up the concept of evil, just doesn't look evil like this thing does.
Nice, Midgen, but my stone looks creepier, even without the eye...
