My disdain for mixing entertainment and politics knows no boundaries. I don't care who you are, or what your political bent is, if you start using your fame and fortune to espouse a political opinion, I'm almost certain to tune you out.

This for the most part. I get so tired of the same predictable words from each section of the political spectrum. Anyone who has even a fleeting knowledge of the normal political mouthpieces can predict what Limbaugh, mathhews, behar, Cooper, etc will all say on a given story. Same with the news outlets. Professional political commentary has been reduced to a parody of a parody.

I wasn't attempting to defend anything, merely commenting on something that annoys me. I can never quite tell if it's on purpose and an attempt to insult or belittle me, laziness or ineptitude.

He's on the bookshelf in my home office. These guys are minis (aside from Nolan Batman, but I have two regular Bat...men? on my home office shelves).

I just realized that all the crap on my desk makes my job look far less fun than it actually is.

So, many if you guys are overly sensitive whining buffoons. Whedon has presented a work of political satire, which is an established and respected element of the arts. There is absolutely nothing uncalled for, or in any way unseemly or untoward about a writer such as Whedon producing satire. It is, in point of fact, his place to do so. Unlike so many of the Hollywood liberals (and other entertainment industry liberals) that you ***** about for overstepping their bounds and using their popularity to push their undereducated and underinformed agenda, Joss Whedon has not lost sight of his "job" being to entertain people, and strove to make his particular piece of agenda-pushing funny and entertaining to a wide audience.

Moreover, there is now the colossal hypicrisy that is Khross lauding Howard the Duck as notable for presenting comics as place for social commentary, after having gotten his knickers in a knot over Joss Whedon making social commentary. So I leave you all with a few words from Heavy which are germane to this discussion: Cry some more.

I use 4x3 displays (two 19 inch) on my work computers. Wide screen formats work well for media presentation, but not so much for email and terminal windows.

I've only been here two months. And those two months have been completely in preparation for tonight at midnight. If this goes off as well as we hope, I might can finagle a cinema display.

The Apple Wireless Keyboard is the best keyboard ever. I hate fullsize keyboards now; having to angle around the useless numberpad for my mouse hurts my wrist.

Most of the time, or just when you're at work? Do you honestly use a number pad a lot in your personal computer usage?

I type a lot of numbers mainly because of coding but I can hit the top row touch typing without slowing just like any other key. It slows me down to remove my hand and use a number pad, actually. If you've got the muscle memory to remember four rows of keys, why not add another? It's pretty simple.

Maybe it's just because of my extensive MMO playing and needing to mash hotkeys all the time, but usually being too lazy to remap keys.
