Better than some of the other women on the show, given that I don't really care if my clothes are clean, and can cook for myself.

Being able to shoot doesn't outweigh the fact that she's constantly undermining the group's leadership and trying to encourage people to kill themselves.

Let her have a gun and send her into the woods to fend for herself if she wants to play it that way.

Granted, Rick's wife is even more useless.

Wow. That was a good episode last night. Was not expecting that.

Spoiler:
They killed off Lori and T-dog!! I understand they have to thin the herd some to make room for new characters so T-dog biting it(pun intented) makes sense. His character was just kind of meh with nothing to do. Lori though...I know she isn't a fan fav but she has had a big role through the whole run. Who's going to fill in the lead woman role?

I was so disappointed in season two I haven't watched any of the episodes this season though they are all recorded. Can anyone tell me if it's worth watching this season? Also let me know if you thought season two was good so I know if I should disregard your opinion :P

Well don't listen to me. I've liked the whole series.

Wow, um, how about this - just watch the first episode of S3. Heck, the first five minutes, and see if you can resist watching the next four episodes. There's been a lot of good stuff, pretty different from S2. Although I will admit that I liked? ... didn't mind? ... Season 2. Kind of depends on how much of a soap opera you're willing to put up with to see some zombie killing. Depends, too, I guess, if you think this is a show about killing zombies, or about how people would react in such a situation.

I see it as the latter more than the former. How people react and survive in this new world. The blood, gore and violence is just a bonus.

Agreed!

Spoiler:
Wow, I'm starting to wonder if Rick and or Carl will bite it, doesn't really seem like anyone is safe, not many shows pull that off.

Oh, definitely. I just suspect that Jhorra might be one of those who sees it as the former, as those are the type of folks who were disappointed with Season 2.

Anyone still watch? I have all 7 episodes of this season saved on the DVR and am wondering if they are worth watching or if this show is over?

I never even cared to finish the first season. In fairness though, people with whom I converse are finding this season excellent, and these are people who were ready to give up on the show after the last couple of seasons.

Religiously. This season is definitely worth watching, I believe. Different show-runner than last year, seems to have a bit more on the ball in terms of where the season is going than the last guy, who had trouble not making it into just a horror fest, and killed off characters that lots of people liked (with no good payoff or particularly good reason to do so).

I dunno, it's fun. It's also literally the only thing I watch on TV, other than sports (and now that baseball season is over ... ), so it's easy for me to be invested. I'm enjoying it, though, in any case.

Ok, not to sound like a broken record but...

HOLY ****! My cable service sometimes takes a few days to get the episode up On Demand so I just saw the newest one. So dark.

Yes and no. What's funny is that the signs were there all season for us to see. Very curious to see where the next two episodes go.

I dunno. I've been trying to avoid speculation along those lines, because

Spoiler:
I want it to be good, but I don't think it will be. On the TWD forum that I frequent, many think that what's on the grill is not your standard fare, but others think it's too early to introduce that storyline from the comics. Since I don't read the comic, all I know is what I come across online (even though I try to avoid reading spoilers). That could be a helluva cliff hanger for the season finale ... keep in mind that Rick and Co. probably were ahead of the group that arrived there last night. Beth may have, too. So ... at the end of next week's episode they could do a reveal of who or what was on the barbie, and leave us all hanging. I don't know how I'd feel about that.

I agree with you, Aethien, I haven't read the comics either.

Spoiler:
I want terminus to be a good place, but I'm sure it won't be. It's killing me about Beth too, what happened to her? I think she must have been forced into that car that drove off...and now Daryl is in that group going after Rick. What do you think about the group that Glenn met up with, the one headed to Washington? They don't seem to fit in the story for me, seems like that is a comic book group of characters that they shoved into the show.

Spoiler:
Abraham, Eugene and Rosita are from the comic - apparently, the image of them when they were introduced is a spittin' image of their introduction in the comic. Like Tyreese (and Axel), they are really shoehorning these characters in. These last three don't work for me at all, especially Eugene. If I were Glenn, every time they say that Eugene "knows what started this whole thing," I would just laugh.

Beth was definitely taken - most likely kidnapped, because at that point in the story I couldn't see her leaving with some stranger(s) voluntarily for her safety or something, if she thought Daryl was dead.

I actually kind of like the Daryl group, especially now that that biggest douchebag is dead. That being said, I realize they're nothing but trouble. But Joe definitely has some good lines - like, "Just some rules so we don't go all Darwin on each other every couple of hours," or whatever it was.

I also have a bad feeling that Rick's group made it to Terminus before Glenn and Co. did. And they're not in a good way.

Yes, I think about this show way too much.

Spoiler:
I agree, I do not think that Beth would ever drive off and just leave Daryl. The whole one-eyed dog thing had to be someone setting them up. Eugene is too "flat" of a character for me right now, just doesn't work. They keep talking about the war is coming, I wonder if that war is between Terminus or the group that Daryl hooked up with. I knew the face of the woman cooking BBQ in Terminus was familiar...Tasha Yar!
