Nothing weird at my polling location. No observers etc, just crazy long lines.

Apparently minority inspectors (mandated by the courts) are being kicked out of individual polling places by the judge of elections (unique to each polling place). All of the minority inspectors are Republican, all of the judges of elections are Democrats. The minority inspector is the only non-Democrat there.

My friend went to vote and was told she had already voted Absentee (Mail-in) and was given a provisional ballot to be discarded later.

Mail-in fraud... sigh.

Make that two people I know who have reported that now.

Just read that a Judge issued and order letting them back in.

Good Lord. The Dems are going to do everything they can to steal this election.

Also, according the MSNBC, long voting lines in FL are racist.

I agree its a problem. Probably no more so than the 2 republican workers handing out flyers in the doorway of my polling place. Isn't the rule 100' or so?

It's interesting about the touch screen "calibration" stuff.

A couple of days ago I saw an article about a machine selecting Obama when Romney was selected. The supervisor said the machine was 'fine', but pulled it for calibration....

An hour later, it was back in service in doing the same thing...

And now, I can't find the article. On Saturday, it was the first hit on a Google search for "Touch voting machine calibration", and there weren't many others.

Now, that same Google search is almost all stories about the machines switching Obama votes to Romney, and mostly in 'swing states'...

It's a good thing is doesn't matter who wins, or I'd probably be pissed...

Edit: After reading the entire Gizmodo article, I'm going with "It's bullshit". That video is sketchy enough to consider that it might have been tampered with, and the author even admits as much, but posts the article anyway, 'just in case'.

Look, Nitefox. We all know the rule is that it isn't electioneering if it's painted on the walls. I mean, it's not like that wall knew it was at a polling place, right? And you can't ask the wall to move.

Entirely depends on the state. For example in Pa the rule is 15 feet from the location containing the voting machines. This can be taken to mean building or room, I've worked inside with some screens blocking political handouts from seeing the voting machines and I've worked where everyone was required to be outside the door.

NJ is the most strict that I know in the area which I believe still is 75 feet from the building.

The no-electioneering line was well inside the door at my poll location.

Yeah. I presented my sample ballot, and had to sign my name kinda like the one they had on record. No ID or anything required.
