The state requires needles to be new each time. The autoclave is used to sterilize the needles so that when they are disposed of, they represent no health threat to those disposing of them.

At least that is what the people I have been to use them for.

Alright, got mine done, but I was swelling up so bad by 2.5 hours, I had to stop and wait for three weeks. She is gonna go back and do the distress on the flags, the white for the Stars and Stripes and touch up anything that needs it. This one was might more painful than my sleeve.

The text reads: Face the world, but never run.

Out of curiosity.

Centerpiece is the Yin-Yang, very USA patriotic stylization. I like it.

I don't recognize the quote, but I like it.

Why only 4 of the 8 trigrams of the I Ching?

Great East-West fusion in that tattoo though.

Looks like a South Korean Flag to me. Nice design, I like it too.

It does look like the Korean Flag, I'm also going to take a guess that the quote/saying is a direct translation from another language.

Thanks guys. Yes the artist is very talented, she has quite a good reputation around the circles I travel for attention to detail, knowledge and talent.

I took the Taegeukgi (flag of Republic of Korea) and used photoshop to draw a stars and stripes motif over the red and blue and gave it a distressed, weathered flag look. The flag proportions and spacing of the I Ching were changed to make the design look more full. She made that change. The text was also pulled in more to make everything more compact.

As for the words, they were taken from a song I heard (in English) and when I heard them, I knew one day I would put them on my body because that's how I try to live my life.

The right skeeve is a Gingko Biloba branch with the Chinese Han (Korean Hanja) for Ox written in it. The Ox was drawn to look like it was carved out of a tree, since I was born in 1985.

I can't wait to see what she has in store for the final details and the white. Her whole portfolio is very amazing.

There is another meaning for the Chinese word for cow/ox…

Allow me a second to giggle…

It means someone who’s stubborn, or someone who’s too good at what he does and overly confident.

Oh completely ... hehe you've read my posts in Hellfire. If only you knew me in real life, you'd laugh even more.

I took the han for "niu", if you were wondering.

hehe I figured... I just thought I'd put it out there in case you didn't know.

I have a male friend who has the literal translation of snow beauty tatooed on his arm. I told him it could also be translated to snow white. He didnt like that very much hehe...
