That sucks. I rerolled a second character on my wife's account and blasted it through to the Warrior on TVHM and farmed via the moonshot method. It's not always the CC, but at least he almost always drops an orange.

Incidentally, there's a balance patch hitting today that effectively nerfs the Bee and Tediore gun explosions. So much for solo'ing raid bosses easily.

I don't really care, but a balance patch for a game like this seems a bit silly.

How awesome would it be if they created anti-nerf patches?

11/15/2012 Patch info:
Gameplay/Balance:
* Updated melee damage - because really who doesn't want to be able to punch a hole through a marauder?
* Updated grenade lock on radius - all grenades will now seek out the nearest enemy, create blunt force trauma from hitting them and then explode

Video/Performance:
* Added animation for punching holes in marauders
* Added sound effects for grenade blunt force trauma

Some random guy joined my public game yesterday and barfed out like 30 orange items including Bee Shield, Maggie, 2x Conference Calls + a ton of grenades, class mods, etc. Then he just quit out. Was in the game for literally 30 seconds.

The new DLC are both awesome, I think I like the Torgue Badass Crater of Badassery more than the Pirate one but that is probably because Mr. Torgue is so damn hilariously over the top Macho Man Randy Savage. Every other time I log in to a public game now though someone spawns in and dumps a ton of Orange, Purple and Gold items like a loot-splosion.

Whose Facebook page were you looking at? I looked on Gearbox Software's FB page and didn't see any codes. There were like 5 on their Twitter account though.

Yeah what Dalantia said, there is a Borderlands 2 FB page run by Gearbox.

Got GOTY edition for Xmas and this game is more awesome than I was adequately prepared for.

Lvl 17 siren with plenty to go, I'm sure. I am loving this game way too much. I redeemed a 1 mo. XBOX live promo to be able to catch in all the golden key codes that were still active.

Improves on everything that was awesome in the first one, and I wasn't yet completely done with that one as of the initial playing of this one.

At the very least, you have to do the Tiny Tina Dragon Keep DLC. It was excellent and a proper conclusion to the normal campaign - probably the best DLC I've ever played or at least tied with Citadel for ME3.

If you think you'll only play through one time and move on, the suggested order of DLC's from best to worst are:
Tiny Tina... > Mr. Toruge's... > Captain Scarlet's... > Sir Hammerlock's...

Honestly, you can probably skip the last one altogether even if you do play multiple times. I beat it but man did it feel like work.

I played a Siren as my main as well. I'd recommend going for the right-hand tree. Go full points into Helios and Reaper. Toss a singularity grenade to pull mobs together, p-lock one, and watch em all burn. Cataclysm, the end-line of that tree is really where your DPS goes from so-so to super-sweet.

If you're still playing in a couple weeks, shoot me a PM. I can hop online and hook you up some mid-to-higher level gear. I don't have any time until after the 25th though.

I had a lot of fun with the game until I was playing hard mode, whatever it's called, and mob health just got ridiculous. I went from one-shotting with my assassin to needing like 5-15 headshots per mob to get kills.
