The Glade 4.0

Anyone else watching this on ABC? I've seen the first 3 episodes (missed Friday's), and it's good stuff. For those that know nothing about it, it's essentially a military-based drama where a US nuke sub is given an order to nuke Pakistan, and the CO "goes rogue" and refuses to fire because he's suspicious of how the order was given.

A number of good sub-plots going on, along with a couple of predictable ones. There's enough going on that my wife is 'meh' about it because she loses track. I'm really enjoying it tho.

Kinda disappointed the thread isn't about this Eagles tune.

Lemme clarify: they're mostly predictable things like the female navigator doesn't get respect; the COB doesn't like the CO's apparent renegade act and gets thrown in the brig, from where he tries subversion; SEALs onboard decide they don't answer to the CO and sit & drink on the island's bar; local despot doesn't like the Navy's intrusion onto "his island" and captures crew...

They're really not tough to follow.

Ahh - heh. All the better that it was completely unintentional.

My wife and I are watching and enjoying it. We haven't yet had time to catch the third episode. Hopefully will get to it tonight.

I don't think I could stand to watch even 5 minutes of this.

I like military fiction, mostly military sci-fi, but this is a fun what if scenario. Just curious, Diamondeye, what makes you not want to watch it?

I still have the latest two episodes DVRed, but both my better half and I agreed when we saw the previews for the hallucinogens in the water episode, that it only took the series 4 episodes to jump the shark.
