Can't be much higher than where I'm living right now, and $112k would be pretty affluent. Unless you choose to live in a downtown Metro area.

Aren't most of the shipping docks in major California cities?

High, but not that high. That is amazing, and is probably only Los Angeles, Oakland and what Midgen said - maybe Portland. San Francisco doesn't have much in the way of cargo docks anymore, having gone mostly shopping and cruise business.

San Diego is a port town but I don't know how much of it is cargo, and how much is Navy. If you were pulling $100k+ here, though, you'd be quite alright.

Well once my papers are finalized I might just see what I can find out there. Getting tired of Ohio.

Portland Oregon does have a port, but not as large as some other cities. It's actually inland up the Columbia a bit, and not as accessible as other large west coast cities.

Port of Seattle and Port of Tacoma are both huge cargo ship ports. Everett not so much, although there are some mighty big Navy ships up at Naval Station Everett.

Amusingly, since I live in West Sacramento, we have a significant inland port here, the Port of West Sacramento.

http://www.cityofwestsacramento.org/cit ... efault.asp

It used to be called the Port of Sacramento, but the city and county of Sacramento stopped operating it and the City of West Sacramento and Yolo County stepped up to the plate.

This is nowhere near the size of Oakland, but it is a major grain and nut shipper, California was second in US rice production last I checked and we export about half of it.

Tomorrow (today) I move her **** out of my house. Please pray for me if you are the religious type, otherwise send me positive thoughts that I can get through this with the right outcome.

Taamar is correct, and in any case due to the shortness of the marriage, her infidelity and her drug use, you not only have grounds for divorce but she would have little grounds for alimony. Really, what have you accomplished in this time that she can claim to have supported you through?

Well, she did support him through some valuable life lessons and personal growth.

It was rough but her stuff is gone. I can now safely ignore her until the courts process our paperwork.

Fantastic! She called twice today and I ignored both until she texted me that she "needs to talk to me asap. she is sick but it is curable and I might not have it"

Turns out she gave some dude chlamydia, despite getting tested repeatedly for everything! (her words). Now my timetable for a doctors appointment has been moved up to tomorrow.

I can understand now why 90% of her exes are gay. If there are many more women out there like her I might decide to become a celibate monk.

Oh and it gets even better. She told me she's essentially living in a commune and has sex with 2x girls and 2x guys regularly plus any other guy she gets on the sly.

This came up when she called me back to tell me they are all getting tested for everything.

I was seriously going to take myself off the market for 6 months but to be honest this experience has been so bad that I think I need to find a nice girl to date casually just to prove they exist. Everything this ***** has done to me is eating away at my soul and destroying my faith in basic human decency.

I'm hardly the relationship expert around here, much less the relationship recovery expert.

But my gut reaction to what you just posted is that maybe you should take 6 months off, find a nice girl to be friends with to prove they exist, and then start looking around for somebody to date casually. ;) Slightly different, but likely to be a bit more therapeutic.

Maybe she is just saying this stuff to keep ties to you. Could it just be lies and in her mind bad contact with you is better than no contact?

Sadly no, I know the guy she gave it to and he confirmed it. No longer on speaking terms with him to say the least.

You may want to do a full screen, actually it's highly suggested.

There's also a chance you may have HPV (if you didnt already) and unfortunately because so many people have it there's no way to test for it. Sooo... if there's any chance of you dating a virgin sometime you may want to keep in mind that she may want to get vaccinated prior to unprotected sex.

Don't discount all females just yet... just avoid the ones who look helpless, where everything is everyone else's fault and essentially play the victim card for their current predicament.

Don't go after another girl; find a slampig or cuddy buddy or whatever if you have to. But I'd say just chill and find a hobby and some friends. I'd have to recommend not being friends with a girl, not because girls can't be cool friends but because you might be vulnerable to become emotionally attached to something that doesn't exist. Same reason I wouldn't get a slampig unless you are positively in need and are sure you aren't gonna get attached to something that's there.

Just two pennies for ya. Good luck man.

Alternatively go order one of those Jap cuddle pillows in the shape of a girl. Those you can totally get attached to, just remember to pack away before any females come over... may get slightly weird looks.

Hopwin,

Dive into a good series of books, ignore other people, and forget about the world for awhile.

You're still grieving, forget about the puta, and remember all the good that was Rivermist. She is the one to base your thoughts of what women should be like, not your unfortunate rebound from hell.
