The Glade 4.0

Oh lord...I just watched the trailer for this patch and I just want to cry that they are wasting this on an MMO. There is so much potential there for an epic single player experience, but it will be diluted by the lameness that is MMO story telling.

Talya did that neck drop for you on Marrowgar 25 regular or heroic? Or 10? We did 10 regular and got nada on the trash.

25. It's a IL 264 item so i'm assuming it's going to be on 25-man trash only. According to Armory it has about a 1% drop rate, too.

Where are the Frost vendors? I'm hearing they're inside the raid dungeon?

So far, I have not been disappointed. They are getting better at telling stories in this format.

They're just inside. It's mostly safe to go in by yourself to talk with them. Just mind your immediate surroundings when you do. If I remember right, the Warlock armor guy is a bit close to the front line action. :p

So, it appears they have made changes to fishing in this patch. You now never catch trash (and in fact always catch something) when fishing from a pool, regardless of fishing skill.

I just fished a "Moonglow Cuttlefish" pool in the Frozen Sea (Northrend) on a level 47 mage with fishing skill of 6 and caught suckerfish and cuttlefish every cast. Sometimes one of each and on one cast, more than one of each.

This boggles me. Does'n't this make having a fishing skill or + fishing gear completely irrelevant?

What am I missing?

Really, really loving the new LFG Tool, so far. We have a group of 3, sometimes 4, people that run pretty regularly. This tool just made it 10X easier to get an instance run going. We've never been in the queue for more than a minute once we've started. Hella sweet!

But why, oh why, did this patch have to come out during Finals week? Blizzard is killing me!!!!111

Yeah, the new LFG tool really rocks. So much less downtime pleading with guildies to fill an open slot.

I am in love with the dungeon finder. It's so convenient. So many cool toys!

It has really made playing alts a lot more fun too- being able to find groups as you level up really revitalizes that area of gameplay.

Outland and Northrend normal dungeons that were always barren, now I can find a group in a good 15 minutes or less.

Ok, for anyone on the Horde side, is there a bug or something with the Howling Fjord quest where you have to bomb the alliance fleet from batback? When I'm over the fleet it won't let me activate the disease bomb because it says I need to be in a certain area.. one that evidently the bat never enters.

Comments on wowhead seem to say the quest was broken with 3.3. While I would expect a fix soon, it's part of a pretty important questline. Sucks.
