I will not go another work day without using Chrome's dev inspector ability to force element states like :hover and :active. That's a gem.

At 1818 yesterday I was sitting on my couch, waiting for my dinner to get done in the oven. I was a little tired but over all, in a good mood. The news was on. Then my power went out.

"Huh?" Was all I said at first. With the cold and snow, I figured Zombies were out of the question. Still, I reached for my blade and went to look around. The whole neighborhood was dark. Shitty night to lose power.

Gas stove but the controls are electric. So as soon as the power went out, the oven shut down.

Inside every old person is a young person wandering what happened.

Every time I see some pedestrian, trivial, hype-driven or just plain idiotic story on the news, I'm reminded that the fact that this stuff is on means we haven't nuked Iran or anything like that.

The internet has come a long way. A Katy Perry video which might be considered racy, provocative, and objectionable by parents will take their children back to the relative safety of Disney radio pop starlets. Eight years ago when YouTube first launched, the related video links would've sent our children straight to Gin & Juice, and eventually introduced them to The Chronic.

Does that work both ways? Do the relatively safe Disney pop starlets link back to the racy, provacative and objectionable video of Katy Perry?

Feel better soon, Micheal. Mine bit me when I woke Friday morning, so I've got a few more days to look forward to the sniffling, sneezing, and coughing. :(

Ugh. Having nested dreams. I fell asleep, then dreamed I had accindently fallen asleep and was dreaming about something. I have a hard enough time sorting out my dreams/real life for about 5 minutes after I wake up without this added complexity.

Either that or my brain is being efficient and I'm getting rem sleep exponentially faster.
