At the grocery store yesterday, there was a young teenager named Stacy, who was there with, you guessed it, her mother. Her mother, probably in her late 30s, is in great shape and good looking. I heard her talking to her daughter, and as soon as I heard the name Stacy, guess what popped into my head.

And yes, she does have it going on.

And the song won't leave my head.

Didn't know the song, had to look it up.
Yeah, it's catchy.

And I'll be in my bunk, now :)

Yep, never heard of it, either. Cute.

Surprised that neither of you had heard of it. Couldn't escape it around here for awhile. Shortly after the tune came out (2003) it seemed to be played nonstop on the radio stations my daughter listened to at the time, and I remember it being used for a couple of commercials when I still watched TV on anything resembling a regular basis.

The lady in the store did not look as good as Rachel Hunter, but she was still well worth a second glance. The daughter (Stacy) in the store was obviously born before the song was released. I bet both of them are going to get very tired of references to that song before Stacy leaves her teen years.

Deadbeat dads, running from the child support they owe.
