****' Fresno.

Great interview, so many quotes.

{Edit: OK, that's really weird. I went to the page to see how on earth they edited that and what actually came across over the air ... But their "video landing" page is messed up. I got audio for an ad for contacts, but the video was what looked like the live feed of the news anchor swilling an energy drink before the camera zoomed into his scalp. Like a camera man was having a laugh and trying to see if he had plugs or something. Fresno.}

I was expecting an H&R semi to come out of nowhere and >bam<.

Damn cyclists should stay outta the kitchen. There are real chefs trying to cook in there.

Was she cooking the omelette via the power generated by her peddling? Because otherwise, it just seems useless.

It's for cycling geeks. What she is doing would be incredibly hard - this isn't a trainer, where you're stabilized with something holding up the frame. She's doing that on rollers, which force you to maintain your balance, just like if you were on the road. I thought it was kind of silly, too, until I realized what she's doing.

She conveniently had everything she needed already staged on the counter.

A lot of work to what would amount to a five minute workout (presumably she would stop riding to eat, although that's not a given).

I think it was posted as a response to a challenge. She had said on her blog (I think) that she could make an omelette on rollers, and too many people said Nuh uh!

I particularly like the one leg action she gets goin at like 1:20 or so.

If I recall correctly, Apollo was the pickpocket consultant on Leverage. They made a point to perform the lifts on-camera, even for the shots where you weren't supposed to catch them. Apparently, Beth Riesgraf (Parker) was an excellent student and got *really* good.

This lecture is pre-LHC and Higgs discovery, but the talk itself I found fascinating. A beginners introduction to particle physics, and a thorough talk about how energy relates to temperature, how we can now see quarks and why we are going to have a very hard time seeing planks.

This next video is mind blowing in a different way

Hmm?

No one expects the rogue trumpeter!

Such a dick move, but that's not going to stop me from laughing.

This man is an artist.
