Just ended a year and a half long D&D game. We averaged one 8 hour game a month. Last game, was the end of the story line. I've had this planned since the game started.

They didn't see it coming. Talk about some broken hearted nerds.

Lesson learned (repeatedly) last night: When a co-worker has to call me in the middle of the night, the apology for awakening me is smaller comfort than the moral justification I would otherwise have had for being angry at the sleep interruption.
