After observing Khross's interaction with most of you, that assumption seems to be pretty solid.

Man Charged For Hunting In A Walmart Parking Lot

BURRELL TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – An Indiana County man is facing several charges, after wildlife officials say he went deer hunting in a Walmart parking lot.

The Pennsylvania Game Commission says 40-year-old Arcangelo Bianco Jr., fired several rounds from a handgun at a 10-point white-tailed deer from within the Burrell Township store’s parking lot, and then bagged the animal near Old William Penn Highway.

The alleged shooting happened last November, while Bianco was shopping at the store, and then saw the buck in the parking lot.

According to charging documents, the deer ran around a corner of the store, and Bianco hopped out of his truck, gun in hand, and “began firing multiple rounds at the deer.”

Bianco faces a misdemeanor count of reckless endangerment, as well as several hunting violations, including hunting without a license, shooting on or across highways and unlawful killing or taking of big game.

A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for May 1.

Is a lack of understanding the fault of the teacher, or the student?

There's an inflection point where it crosses over.

You live in Minnesota, which has a 90% white population; yet, amusingly, you presume to dictate to the rest of us on a regular basis your superior moral credibility on race issues and racism. Of course, you're not as bad about trying to find someone being racist as RangerDave. But, that's ok, we must all be "n*****-hating" jackasses down here in the South, else why do we have all this history that proves as much? Right? That's the arguments I get from you guys every time this subject comes up. And, well, I'm rather tired of that Master Narrative; it ceased to be true a long, long time ago. And, obviously, you guys still haven't taken my advice to go watch Real Madrid play Juventus while in Spain or Italy.

That's ok, Spanish soccer fans like Italian soccer fans less than you like people; and vice versa.

I know Africans count as 3/5 of a person. So maybe a Euro is 2/3 of a person? Maybe 5/9ths?

Las Vegans always count as less than 50%, the odds always favor the casinos.

Very many, indeed, yes.

Honestly, that's been around since before Obamacare was conceived, and not just confined to Wal-Mart. In my experience, ever since the recession hit, the strategy of "hire temp/contract workers without benefits and pressure them into unpaid overtime" is becoming an increasingly common business practice. It certainly happened to me.

Sure. But that doesn't change the impact or scope of the unintended negative consequences of Obamacare.

Actually, there will be less Wal-Mart style employment after Obamacare kicks in full force next January; there will also be less ...

Student Employment Opportunities
Cooperative Education Programs
Work-Study Programs
Paid Internships
Unpaid Internships
Jobs Requiring a 1099-R

In fact, our entire post-secondary education system stands to collapse under the immediate expense increases Obamacare will slam on us next January.

100% of the time, the student. Here's something you won't ever hear another teacher say, but its truth is pretty much fixed: "I can't teach you anything. I can only point you in the direction of stuff I think you should learn."

Speaking for myself, I've never stated anything close to those comments. All I've pointed out is that racism is NOT dead like you and some other posters here seem to believe.

Well that pretty much explains why no one understands your posts.

If someone misunderstands you as a speaker, it's your fault for not understanding your audience and helping guide them to at least understand your point. That's communication 101, which is for the purposes of modern education the start of learning.

I do agree, that you can't force a student to learn and all of the cliche's around "I can only show you the door", etc. are true as far as they go. But the part you gloss over is that teachers are a guide and a teacher that is able to communicate well with their students will have vastly better success than one that can't. And that is almost entirely on the teacher.

I think the difference is that Khross is talking about learning and you are talking about communicating. They are not the same thing.

Aizle:

Actually, I used to make deliberate efforts to gauge the understanding and knowledge of my audience on these forums before I went into a long post or issued an argumentative opinion. You guys accused me being condescending, elitist, and insulting. I took the repeated insistence I did not need to gauge the knowledge base of my audience or the participants in these conversations as a collective statement meaning, "We're not ignorant twits." Now that I no longer do as much, you want to say its my fault you don't understand my posts? Balderdash, I say. Our society suffers from an extreme lack of applied curiosity. We beat the questions out of our kids in school; we beat the questions out of our adults through fractious materialism (<--- used in the Hegelian, post-dialectic sense).
