Lol that is awesome.

If it's any consolation, you do realize that entire series is tongue-in-cheek, right? So far as I know, Ken Levine is not actually a brony.

You do realize I am busting your chops right? :D

If you don't have the game, or don't want to play it, but still want to experience the story...

I went through on hard and found the Voxphone that describes Comstock's rapid aging that I had missed the first time. My bad on my theory before.

Yeah the whole "murder" thing seems like it should be a little more contentious.

I can understand where he's coming from. An aspect of the game threatened to ruin his immersion.

That made my brain hurt. Dude, its a **** video game. It didn't come with a vial of holy water that you have to splash on yourself to continue.

Get over yourself.

Yeah.

Murdering, doing drugs, and hearing God's name taken in vain (again and again and again) in a video game is A-O-K. But suddenly this is the thing that crosses the line for him?

I think he needs to take a much harder look at his values and what he's desensitized himself to. And then he needs to give up to either playing (most) video games entirely, or own up to being a hypocrite and refund his refund.

I hate hypocrites (both religious and non).

I can understand him not liking something because it shocks his immersion back into reality. I can even understand deciding he doesn't want to play the game anymore. But to demand a refund based on the premise that it upsets his beliefs when clearly he has no problem compromising those beliefs elsewhere? Homey don't play dat.

Suggestive audio is suggestive (i.e. don't watch this at work unless you have headphones)

Bioshock didn't hold my interest long at all...and Bioshock 2 had absolutely zero appeal to me. Putting the name Bioshock on this guarantees I'm not likely to try it until it hits $5 bargain pricing on steam.

I ended up buying Infinite after seeing FarSky rave about it so much and it didn't disappoint. (I had to buy Windows 7 to play it, even.) I'm a sucker for time-travel and quantum mechanics plot lines (with a little dystopia thrown in!) but I did raise an eyebrow when I learned that Lutece was working with QM in the 1880's.

FarSky, what was it that you found so compelling in the lottery scene? I have little appreciation for pacing and writing and so it didn't stand out to me.

I will say that any game that introduces players to the Boxer Rebellion and Wounded Knee gets a few extra history geek points.
