Magicka for Tablet!!!

Stumbled onto this in my Appstore searching and couldn't be more pleased. I'll reiterate my sentiment from the Magicka for PC thread:



Even with a few tweaks to make it more tablet friendly, nothing feels lost in this iteration. The humor is there, the Magicks are there, the spell combining dynamic is there.

Loving this so far, but haven't yet ventured into the multiplayer realm. Working on the campaign ATM. I actually LOLed at the description of the dual staff, "Harnesses the incredible power of taping two staffs together." And yes, the staff is actually two staffs taped together, Darth Maul style. Me, I'm kinda partial to the Glowing Nuclear Rod staff which ups your fire and lightning damage through the roof at the cost of a constant life drain.

I honestly can't think of anything bad I'd like to say about this game, if you liked the PC version you will like this all the same.

Walk, don't run (I want you to be safe), to your nearest iTunes or Google app store and shell out the $1.99 for this.

I grabbed this a week or so ago - iirc you can do multiplayer cross platform...

and I wanna get the Dead Space robe XD

Grr, due to some Play Store silliness, I can't get this for my Nexus 7. The devs confirmed that the game will work on my tablet, but they can't mark it as such without breaking other things. >_<

They were able to resolve the issues with the Play Store, so I was able to pick this game up this morning. Very fun so far.

Still having fun after I beat it. I haven't played a ton of Multiplayer yet, but the bit I did was enjoyable.

It seemed to reset my level progression status when I quick-joined a multi game that was further back than where I had already gotten to.

Strangely enough, that seems to be the only way to "replay" the game. After beaten, you can freely go back and to any of the levels to try to earn the gold star; but if you wanted to replay the game as if it is the first playthrough, I haven't seen how to do that yet.

Unlocking all the staffs (Staves?) and robes is fun too. I am still looking for that ideal combo. Right now, I am sporting the Frozen Robe with the Glowing Nuclear Rod.
