There was quite a bit of violence in downtown Seattle last year on MayDay. Lots of banks and other businesses had their windows broken and other 'anarchistic' mayhem. The media has been literally taunting people all day today via any means possible... "all is quiet at the Wells Fargo branch at 5th and Olive..." etc....

Fortunately, this year things haven't been too bad (much to the Media's displeasure).

Was perusing the Seattle Police Department twitter feed earlier and saw this gem.
