The internet is apparently starving for news, because I'm seeing "Patrick Stewart eats pizza for the first time" all over the place because of
his tweet.
He possibly meant it was his first "New York Slice" but internet news sites are treating it as if it was the first time the man has had pizza in the history of his life. I know that's complete and total B.S.
My brain files away useless information all the time. I don't know why it remembers useless stuff, like why I remember the russian word for pig is pronounced "sveen-ya," but combined with some humor it can be quite the fun time when used appropriately. Because of this, I remember an
article from IGN I read 13 years ago.
He was being interviewed for an upcoming movie called X-Men and the interviewer was a person who worked for IGN who also happened to be Patrick's own son, Daniel. So the interview was done at Sir Patrick's house.
During that interview, Patrick offered his son a slice of pizza he was going to warm up in the oven. His son declined, since it was pretty much breakfast time. Patrick heated some up and ate it.
I remember that because it was funny and it made the celebrity far more "real" to me.
Useless information for a bit of useless news for a useless post. But god damn it, I will not hear these lies being spread when my brain knows better.
