That makes me want to play Pool of Radiance again. Though I fear it hasn't aged well.

Actually, I wasn't going for any double meaning. I enjoyed Pool of Radiance circa 1988-ish and haven't touched it since it was brand new.

Pool of Radiance was awesome back in the day, but I have a feeling now it'd be terribly repetitive.

They remade Pool of Radiance back in the early 2000s. I never played it, but I remember it used to wipe your operating system from your hard drive if you tried to uninstall it. I'm sure they fixed that by now, though.

I don't recall a remake but I remember they bundled it into a re-release with POD, Curse of the Azure Bonds, Secret of the Silver Blades, EOB 1, 2, 3. Too bad they didn't include the game journals so you could figure out wtf was going on :roll:

I had that when it came out. There was a game journal included in my version; all the journals were bundled together in the instruction manual.

It was intolerably dull, repetitive, and they left a good third of the 3E classes out for no apparent reason. The graphics and sound were ok though.

There was a fan-made Pool of Radiance module for Neverwinter Nights, as I recall.
