Did they secretly replace real refs with replacement refs to see if Seattle fans would notice?

The "SheHawks" defense is ajuggernaut. And they are without three of their starters. The home crowd helps of course.

San Fran ran up over 400 yards on Green Bay last week. Seahawks made their offense look anemic tonight.

Kap finished 13-28 for 127 yards, was sacked 3 times, had 3 INTs and a rating of 20.1

Oh, and Kaepernick needs to pay up on his bet!

That was tense for a little while, but I'm glad that one's over.

Next up, Jax. At home.

Rodgers became only the second quarterback in NFL history to throw for 480-plus yards, four-plus TDs and zero INTs in a game, joining Giants QB Y.A. Tittle (505/7/0 vs. Washington, Oct. 28, 1962).

The Packers also became the first team in NFL history to have a 450-yard passer and a 125-yard rusher in the same game.

Ugh. Don't remind me, Vlad.

WTB a defense. PST

Oh, look. And the guy he's second to was also playing against the 'Skins.

Watched exactly one offensive drive by Cincy and Pittsburgh last night, sometime in the 2nd quarter. The only things missing were balls bouncing off the receivers heads.

Apparently, at least one person in the San Francisco area thinks that Seattle Seahawks home stadium fans are so obnoxious that it should be considered unsportsmanlike conduct.

This has been making the rounds on Seattle talk/sports talk radio this morning. It's a Letter to the Editor at the San Francisco Chronicle from the 17 Sep 2013 print edition.

Here is the online posting.

Judy Spelman, Rich Schiller @ sfgate.com wrote:
Unsportsmanlike conduct in Seattle
Was anyone else appalled by the unsportsmanlike conduct of the Seattle Seahawks and their fans, juiced on noise, which surely creates as big an advantage over an opponent as any performance enhancing drug and which, to their shame, NFL officials turn the same blind eye they have to concussions and drugs ("Seattle states case loudly, clearly in rout," Sports, Sept. 16)?

It would be simple to fix. Seahawks players and managers would ask their fans to cease and desist, and the NFL would implement a new rule: The visiting team may stop the game when fan noise is greater than a specified decibel level, and should this rule be violated in more than three games, no home games will be played at the offending field for the rest of the season, including playoff games. Things would quiet down.

At a time when the world seems sour, sports give us a place of joy, community and hope, and to have it spoiled is a bigger loss than it seems on the surface.

I'm for it. It's bullshit when quarterbacks can't make calls. This is a contest between two teams, fans are not included and any interference should be stopped.

Some stadiums are loud. Deal with it.

Some stadiums are quiet as a ghost town when the home team is on offense and louder than WWII when the visiting team is on offense.

The fans should have zero impact on the game. No one is screaming in Tiger Woods' ear when he goes for a tournament-winning putt.

lol omg.. lenas.. really?

Edit:

So by this logic, all NFL games sporting events should just be played on a neutral field with nothing but TV cameras around? No 'home field advantage' ?
