Chiefs not so much, they sent what 8 guys to the Pro Bowl last year? The surprise to me was how badly they finished last season.

Excessive noise was a penalty against the defense until 2007.

As a side note, that whistle in the SF Seattle game is something that should really be not allowed.

I think the current rule is that if there is an inadvertant whistle, or a whistle is blown from the stands, the play is automatically dead.

The problem with the whistle in the Seahawks/Niners game is that the refs apparently didn't hear it, and thus did not stop the play.
