I'm a fan of sim games (except I couldn't really get into "The Sims"). Banished is an indie city simulation that just came onto my radar.

It's a medieval setting, which piqued my interest. The biggest resource of the game is your townspeople as individuals. The game is less about expanding a megacity and more about seeing if you can create a town that allows your people to survive and thrive.

I'm all about interesting takes on city building. This game is slated for release "mid to late 2013."

Yeah, we are in that timeframe. Though it hasn't fully passed us by yet.

Ooh, thanks, that looks fun. I also could never get into Sim City. But this looks like it could be fun.

It's been on my radar since it was in alpha/beta. I have a harder time with the ascII graphics, I think. But I love the concept.
