So I'm driving to my last day of Physics class and my wife left a time-bomb in the car for me: A can of orange juice concentrate. It exploded, I thought somebody shot a gun (I happened to be on the bad side of town, so it was reasonable), and luckily didn't leave too much collateral damage in my boxers.

In any case, we got up a decent amount, but the car still smells like crap. Any ideas on how to get that out?

Air it out for a week, plus shampoo any vehicle fabrics. Not that I'm an expert, just givin' an opinion.

hmm, perhaps a good interior detailing complete with a carpet shampoo?

Sounds like a mess, sorry man.

Pay for the detailing, in the long run its cheaper than all the things you will try using to get that smell out -- and fail.

You could always try this http://www.zeroodor.com/ . Works great on cat pee odors, and the cranky old guy smells (who hardly washed his clothes and body) who lives next door, and needs rides places.

My friend had a similar experience but with a muffin tube (?), it's a PITA to get out so she posted it online here.

Leave a bowl of vinegar in the car overnight

Wait is it the OJ that smells or did you have an 'accident' when you thought you were being shot at?

Nuke it from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

Orbital bombardment leaves nasty stains. I advise against it in this case.

That or save the technique for a last ditch effort.

Screw that. I've saved a few thousand alone in doing my own maintenance and I'm gonna see that thing to 300,000 miles if it kills me.
