Who's got it? Which one did you get? What starter did you choose? Are you a boy? Or are you a girl? What do you think of the game so far?

My wife and I picked it up Saturday morning. Toys R Us had a BOGO 40% off deal on 3DS games, so we were able to pick up the second copy at a discount. We both a copy of each X and Y, then had someone shuffle the games behind his back so we could randomly choose which one we got. When I created my character, my wife had chosen to name her trainer with her real name, so I did the same. I chose Fennekin as my starter. We just left Lumiose City for the first time.

The game is pretty fun so far. I haven't really played a Pokemon game since the original Red on the Gameboy. I hope to be able to keep playing this game all the way through to the end.

X. And for the first time ever, Pokémon finally clicked with me. Phe's loved it since the beginning, but I've never been on that bandwagon. This time's different, though.

I've actually gotten seven of the eight badges so far (I've never made it past the first one any other time). I picked Chespin as my X starter and Charmander as my secondary starter. Phe's got Y.

Current team:
Malamar lvl. 59, Cthulhu
Talonflame lvl. 58, Grayson
Raichu lvl. 55, Gadget
Charizard lvl. 58, Otachi
Chesnaught lvl. 60, Andraste
Azumarill lvl. 66, Droplet

And I have now beaten the Elite Four and the Champion. For the first time in a Pokémon game. Ever.
