Just got the word today that a fencer I know has advanced pancreatic cancer, with only a few days left.

Sigh.

I'm tired of cancer taking my friends.

I'm so sorry Serienya. I know how you feel, I've lost so many family members to cancer and had my own cancer scare in late 1999. :(

Condolences. This happens more and more as you get older. I'm going to more funerals than weddings these days.
