Love to see thoughts about this one.

The defense attorneys put the victim on trial and won in the most cop-friendly courts in America. Why on earth would you expect anything less?

through a court they were indeed found not guilty. I do not feel they should not be allowed to hold their jobs because there will always be a doubt as to their actions. in my opinion even if they followed the department policy to the letter, the outcome of the situation with Kelley was such that they should be found incompetent to keep their position. I think they are so tainted by this, that they would never be able to perform the job that they were hired for.

on a personal note I feel the citizens should run them out of town.

Mentally ill, addicted, homeless and a known factor in typical down and outs. The cops decided to rough him up for not immediately complying with their orders. They did not understand or care what was wrong with him. It went way too far and he died, a victim of police brutality.

Any one of us could be him if the cards we were dealt in life were different in the way his were. Another example of how the country tosses aside those difficult to treat.

Six cops to take down and beat one unarmed sick man to death. Pathetic.

The cops should have had a real trial, elsewhere. Instead, they walk.

See it way too often.

FBI is stating it is currently investigating it. Hopefully these cops fry or dangle at the end of it.

I haven't followed this situation at all. I just scanned a couple of articles online.

I'll just say that what happened to him is absolutely horrific.

That said, without having been in the courtroom during the trial, and listened to the evidence that was presented, I'm disinclined to pass judgement on the actual verdict.

I'll only pass judgment on the verdict because it was Orange County.
