Winter Solstice - Parts ripped without permission

By Dec 22, the Sun's demise is fully realized,

for the Sun, having moved south continually

for six months, decends to it's lowest point

in the sky.

And here lies the crux of this situation.

The Sun "hangs" in the sky for three days.

This takes place in the vicinity of the crux,
or Southern Cross.

And on Dec 25, the Sun once again begins it's

ascent, forshadowing longer days, warmth and

life.
