The Glade 4.0

Stryder is best used for Hit and Run tactics. With 3 Dashes, and the Dash Core ability, you have a LOT of mobility. Use it to your advantage.

I'm really loving this game, too. If it wasn't for Double XP weekend in SWTOR, I'd be playing the crap out of it, heh.

Yeah, I definitely prefer the SMG to the base carbine. I've been swapping between that and the shotgun.

Totally hooked on this one, haven't enjoyed an FPS this fast since UT or Quake 3. Mobility is the key to everything. I really like that titans aren't nearly as overpowered as it seems like a giant mech on the battlefield should be. I consistently find myself using my titan as a distraction tactic to rodeo and kill a titan trying to take it down. Fun stuff.

Also, going G2 is wild, losing all your toys forces you to get back to the basics.

I went G2. Trying my damndest to get through without using anything but the Smart Pistol (until I've unlocked everything for it).

Oh god, eww, why would you do that? I looked at my stats recently, was proud to see I have used the smart pistol for a total of 2 minutes (and I'm sure that was all burn cards.) DEATH TO THE SMART PISTOL!

It locks on but then I try to aim and it unlocks so I just pump three rounds in them like it was a normal pistol.

Yeah, the locking feature only works if you're not aiming. If you aim, it's all manual. It's designed as an equalizer for players who haven't played shooters.

Here's how to get kills with a smart pistol:

Hide. Wait for someone to run by. Follow them till you get 3 locks, fire.
Or:
Wait till you hear a gunfight going on. Run in. Target the distracted party till 3 locks, fire.

It's a scavenger weapon.

It's also a really great tool for mowing down poin-- ahem, NPCs -- as you're flying by on a wallrun. That's the reason I like it so much: it's a useful tool both for novices and for experienced players, if you apply it to the right niche.

Haha, the Regen requirements for Level 9 to 10 are "If it moves" Tier 5 with the Smart Pistol.

All servers are down. I guess that's the downside to putting both Xbox and PC in the MS cloud.

Could be worse man, if it was on EA's servers they'd never be up lol

Haha true that. They got them back up after about 6 hours. So far, other than that, I haven't seen many tech issues. A little server lag here and there, but nothing major. Pretty smooth launch, all told.

That is what Microsoft said they are going to be doing with the Xbone multiplayer interface. Griefers will get matched with griefers, rage quitters get matched with rage quitters, cheaters with cheaters, etc. Nice to see them following through on the promise instead of the toothless gamer rep they used last gen.
