Not in any way to denigrate the amazing offerings Pixar has given us over the last ten years - it's so hard to rate the best Pixar movies with Toy Story 3, Brave, Up, Wall-E, & Ratatouille all in contention (and if I'm intellectually honest with myself, Cars, Monsters University were both pretty good, as well. Even Cars 2...while paling in comparison to the others, still kept me laughing through the entire movie, even if I have no inclination to watch it again). But since 2004, there is only one Pixar movie to which I've been wanting to see a sequel. And there has never been anything other than passing comments from the director saying, 'Hey, he'd love to make a sequel, if someone comes up with a story idea for it that's worth making.' Yesterday it was officially announced:
The Incredibles 2 is in development.
Oh, and they're also making Cars 3. Who gives a ****?
