Anyone seen this? Started playing yesterday(free to play). It's not a bad game. Graphics are cool, gameplay is pretty nice.

I have been playing since December. It's fantastic. I think it appeals to me where WoW and EQ PvP never did, because Smite doesn't try to be something else. It's just battle.

I had the most glorious experience tonight. This guy starts sending me /tells around the 5:00 mark or so, calling me a faggot and a nigger. He stops moving to type this out. After I get a /tell, I turn around and see him standing still, and then see him get hit by my teammates' stuff. Then I go kill him. And... he kept doing it.

I wasn't even killing him because he called me a nigger. He was just standing still.

People do this in EVE all the time for some reason; some alliances seem to revolve around as many offensive terms as possible. Some people claim it's actual racism and such, but I get the distincty impression it's mostly just people using internet anonymity to get away with saying socially unacceptable things.
