People always act like you see monsters and cheeseburgers and **** where nothing actually exists; it's not like that. Really just seems like the world is breathing or pulsating.

The effect from watching this video is pretty much identical, but instead of lasting 15 seconds the psilocybin lasts 7 hours.

TheRiov, the issue isn't the research indicating a lack of benefit. It's the lack of research showing that there is a benefit. We shouldn't have to prove that medications aren't helpful. The drug companies and doctors prescribing them should be able to demonstrate that they are effective. But they haven't done this research!

That's what bothers me. I understand the evidence against stimulants isn't all that conclusive, a lot of it involves naturalistic studies where it's hard to distinguish between cause and effect. But the lack of studies looking at long term outcomes in patients taking these medications is downright irresponsible. We're spending billions of dollars every year on these medications and we don't even know if they have any benefits after 2 years! Ritalin has been used to treat ADHD for 50 years, there's no excuse for the lack of long term studies on its effectiveness.

Oh I know (at least for shrooms; LSD is a different story). I was just joking around.
